About

My portfolio centers around the exploration of the relationship between my understanding of “revolution” and imagery, through both visual art and photographs. Throughout the year-long course, Connections and Conflicts, my interests lie in examining the impact of all things visual during revolutionary times. I hope to shed light on the connection between both art and photographs, and human response in the telling of history.

I would like to thank Dr. Wills, Dr. Denham, Dr. Zamir, Dr. Ingram, Dr. Henke, and Dr. Ewington of Davidson College for leading this Humanities class and its theme of “revolution”. I would also like to thank my classmates, Dr. Wills’ and Dr. Denham’s discussion group for influencing my own perspectives exhibited throughout my portfolio.
